This policy explains how Industrial Datalog Systems Kft. ("we") handles personal data in connection with the iDSLab website, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website is currently a pre-launch, informational site; this policy will be updated before public launch and before any account, newsletter, download or payment features are switched on.

This site is a static, informational website. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on it, and we do not operate live accounts, newsletter delivery, downloads or payments yet. Our server may keep standard technical access logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation of the server, in our legitimate interest.
Where the site shows contact, newsletter or sign-in forms, these are currently presented as pre-launch prototypes and are not connected to a live backend. If you send us a message through a working channel, we use your details only to respond to your enquiry.
Before public launch we expect to introduce, and will document here before enabling: a double-opt-in newsletter confirmation and email delivery. Payments are handled by our third-party merchant-of-record provider, Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Limited), who processes your payment and billing details under their own privacy policy; iDSLab does not see or store your card details. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Stripe, PayPal or similar services, and we will not claim to until they are actually integrated.
To understand how the website is used, we operate our own first-party analytics — no third-party analytics service (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) is used, and no data leaves our systems. We record anonymous usage events only: the pages viewed, the time spent on the site per session, and the referring website. To distinguish sessions we generate a random, browser-local identifier stored in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage); it is not linked to your name, email or account, and we do not store your IP address or any other personal data with these events. The purpose (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) is to measure aggregate site usage and keep the site secure; the data is not used to profile or identify individuals. You can clear this identifier at any time by clearing your browser storage.
We also log application-level security events — such as failed sign-in attempts and blocked access — to protect the site and accounts. These logs are minimal and retained only as long as needed for security.
The site uses only technically necessary browser storage: a secure sign-in session cookie when you log in, a basket kept in your browser, and the anonymous analytics identifier described above. We do not set advertising cookies or use cross-site trackers. Because the analytics identifier is anonymous and first-party, no separate consent banner is required; if that ever changes, this page and a consent mechanism will be updated accordingly.
This policy will be revised before public launch and before production account and payment features are enabled.
